The Birmingham Barons begin their final homestand at Regions Park on Thursday, August 30th with five games against the Chattanooga Lookouts, Double-A Affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Thursday's game begins at 7:05 PM.
The homestand kicks off with Thirsty Thursday featuring 16 oz. beverages for $1 presented by Budweiser and Buffalo Wild Wings. Prior to Thursday's game there will be a pre-game concert presented by Redline Bar & Grill. Gates will open at 6:00 PM.
The final weekend at Regions Park will feature three fireworks shows starting with Friday Night Fireworks presented by Coca-Cola, Dale's Seasoning and MBS. The Super Saturday fireworks show is presented by Red Diamond and MINI of Birmingham.
For the final two games of the season, the Barons will open their gates allowing fans to see the Barons play free of charge. General admission seating for Sunday, September 2nd and Monday, September 3rd will be free for all fans as the Barons say 'Thank You' to Hoover for 25 years of support. No ticket will be required as fans can sit in any of the Regions Park general admission areas.
Throughout the final homestand, the Barons will show their appreciation and gratitude for Hoover by recognizing Hoover Parks and Recreation Board members as well as other Hoover officials before and during each game. Current Barons players will greet fans entering the ballpark each game and a special tribute video will be shown featuring current White Sox players, former Barons legends and current players and coaches.
